Mr. Rizzi is a State
University of New York BSBA graduate transplanted to Atlanta,
Georgia while employed with Hewlett Packard Company of Palo Alto,
California. Mr. Rizzi began his business career following four years
of focus on a Business Administration degree with concentrations in
photography, communications and the graphic arts at SUNY Oswego in
New York.
Immediately following SUNY Oswego he spent 12 years in the
communications industry and the FM radio broadcast business. His
experience in the 70's included professional positions with many New
York area radio stations including WAPP and WHN in New York. His FM
Broadcast management experience included sales, programming and
technical operations. Mr. Rizzi was also the director of the Bridge
Broadcasting Company and as an entrepreneur was responsible for
constructing and operating FM radio stations in the 80's.
Later he became the President of Bridge Communications, a computer
consulting company that provided highly technical hardware and
software computer training and curriculum development for The
American Management Association in New York City. He was directly
responsible for the development, deployment and delivery of training
courses in many major cities throughout the United States. He is
highly experienced in Lotus 1-2-3, dBase, Word Perfect, Word, Excel,
PageMaker, PhotoShop, Front Page and other significant presentation
graphic and we based software applications. His technical expertise
includes both the Macintosh and Windows based PC platforms which
brought him to the Atlanta American Management Association branch
office on many occasions.
Mr. Rizzi joined CAERE Corporation in the early 90's as their New
York District Sales Manager. CAERE Corporation was one of the
original creators of OCR or optical character recognition software
for the Macintosh and Windows PC platform during the advent of
Desktop Publishing in the late 80's. His high level of technical
experience placed Mr. Rizzi in many New York Fortune 500
Corporations developing sales and technical programs using the CAERE
OCR software application.
It was that technical background and experience with CAERE
Corporation that later led him to close professional ties with the
Greeley Colorado Division of Hewlett Packard. He later joined
Hewlett Packard in New York City as a Technical Consultant and
Technical Training Manager. While at Hewlett Packard in New York he
maintained and operated the Technical Training Center at 400 Park
Avenue in New York City delivering highly technical hardware and
software application training to corporate technical professionals.
He later relocated to Atlanta Georgia as a Hewlett Packard Regional
Technical Manager and then became the Graphics and Hard Copy
Technical Program Manager for the United States and Canada. His
technical pre-sales and educational responsibilities included
technical hardware and software training development and delivery
for the North American Graphics and Hard Copy Technical Consultant
team. Upon an early retirement, Mr. Rizzi's entrepreneurial spirit
surfaced again as he was the Operations Director for a
start-up eCommerce company that was launched successfully in the
late '90s.
His artistic, graphic
and photographic capabilities were instrumental in 2001 with the
design and introduction of an automobile car show website and
accompanying monthly car show gathering for car and coffee lovers
alike. Cars And Coffee was a success from the very beginning in
2001. Mr. Rizzi was the principal creator, web designer, editor and
digital photographer for a very popular Saturday morning monthly car
show meeting in Roswell, Georgia. The show was known in all its
forms as Cars And Coffee, Cars 'N Coffee and as Cars & Coffee and it
became a favorite way to enjoy a cup of coffee and talk cars at the
very first morning car show gathering for many Atlanta car lovers .
More recently he has continued his work in the computer hardware and
technical training arena with Proficient Ideas (www.proficientideas.com)
developing successful Internet websites for professional business
clients. He has worked with Fulton County Schools as a PC, Multi
Media and Digital Graphic computer applications teacher at Milton
High School and also delivered professional educational instruction
in Business Management at Alpharetta High School in Atlanta,
Georgia.
Mr. Rizzi is also currently the Photo Editor of PHOTOpportunity.com and
also their regional digital photographer located in the Atlanta
southeast region. As editor and photographer Mr. Rizzi utilizes his
artistic ability, professional experience and technical expertise to
create unique and individualistic digital photographs of highly
collectible sports cars, classic cars, hot rods and muscle cars for
PHOTOpportunity, Inc.
Ron also keeps extremely
busy as a Part Time Instructor for Gainesville State College, Lanier Technical College,
The Training Associates and ExecuTrain teaching Computer Applications, Digital
Photography and Web Design in Atlanta Georgia. He also is a
software applications and hardware consultant for BFI Management in
Escondido, California. And he is also an eBay
Education Specialist delivering eBay training in Georgia for Auction
